ABOUT ME
It's a day in summer of 1997. A 5 year old boy suddenly can't speak a word fluently. Over night something has changed. A new life-long challenge has appeared. He stutters now.
This is not as bad as it sounds, I can say today. Back then, it felt like a curse because apparently the "how" is more important than the "what". Try to recite a self written poem to your crush while sounding like a tape which got stuck in the recorder.
We all have feelings which we want to share. Human beings want to impress and express. If words can't do that, we find other ways. Mine was dancing. A lot. Then filming myself. Then observing everything. As I had always something to say, I have never stopped communicating. Challenges give you new opportunities of arranging your life and to try out new ways. My challenges made me.
Today I am capable of expressing trough words easily (and sometimes that sounds funny too). But also I have learned to understand people trough their appearance, motion, rhythm, hobbies, anxieties and desires.
It is impossible not to communicate. Hence nobody has to hide what she or he has to say. If the "how" is a problem, I know a guy who can help.
